Flickr member tero kaiponen caught a moving train from an overpass in Helsinki, Finland with his Ricoh GR II. I love the motion, works well here.
Flickr member Gordon Montgomery shot this great candid on a subway in Vancouver, BC with his Ricoh GR.
My flickr contact Dimuth Perera took this fantastic canid of a child peering through a train window in Badulla, Sri Lanka.
Flickr member Philipp Medicus shot this fantastic aerial (drone?) of freight cars with his Ricoh GR.

My longtime flickr contact and friend Schoolbookdepository took this excellent image of a freight train with a Canon 1D Mark IV and a Canon 200mm f/2.8 L lens in Greta (NSW) Australia.
The length and speed of the lens compresses the train and shows off the heat waves mixed in with the bokeh blur that is the back of the train. Brilliant effect, almost like tilt-shift miniaturization. This image is shot wide open at f/2.8 with a 200mm lens. That’s a very shallow depth of field, even though the front of the train is pretty far away from the camera. If the camera were closer to the front of the train the back would disappear in blur so Duncan (his real name) has taken the shot at exactly the right time to get this great effect. He’s been doing these kinds of shots for a while so he’s well practiced.
My flickr contact -Cabanaboy- has posted a great candid portrait of a man reading on a train in Japan. Brilliant.
Flickr member Chris Leskovsek has posted a beautiful monochrome of an oncoming train in Aukland, New Zealand.
