This is just a taste of some loose stamps in my collection. I have many more mounted with hinges in albums and over time I’ll be working to unmount them and get them cleaned up and scanned.
For more on how these stamps were scanned and processed check out this post.
My Flickr contact Johan Talens posted another amazing window reflection taken in Paris with a Ricoh GR.
My Flickr contact Werner Schwehm posted this terrific window reflection of sailboats in Marseille, France. Brilliant shot and the fact that he got square with the windows took care of the geometric distortion that’s common in shots like this.
My Flickr contact Werner Schwehm posted this fantastic city-scape of Marseille, France. The large white building is the Orange Velodrome stadium.
Here’s a screen shot of this building taken from Apple Maps:
My Flickr contact Johan Talens took this amazing reflection in Marseille, France with his Ricoh GR.
My flickr contact chris schroeer-heiermann posted this dramatic image of the Millau Viaduct, a bridge in southern France which is the tallest bridge in the world, designed by the architect Norman Foster. Chris shot this with a Canon S95 camera which is amazing in itself as the camera is quite old.
My flickr contact Giles McGarry shot this great image, looking up at the Pacific building in the La Défense district of Paris, France.
My flickr contact Isabelle Wolter shot this in Paris, France with her Ricoh GR.
The idea of shooting an interior with a big window and the space outside as a background is a great one. Tough exposure to get right and it’s great that Isabelle was willing to silhouette the staircase and escalator railing.
Flickr member Jürgen Lübeck shot this staircase in France with his Leica M.
Flickr member Jean-Adrien Morandeau took this unusual and terrific image of Le Mont Saint Michel in Normandy, France.
This is a much photographed island but I’ve never seen a shot like this of it. Terrific perspective and added context with the boardwalk and road.
