Excellent coastal image, Thanks for posting this one Richard. The Canon S95 has been around a long time and is still a very fine camera.
Amazing that the S95 still going, very sturdy little beast. Yes, this is an image I’d expect from a more sophisticated camera but of course, as we know, it’s the operator, not the gear.
it does annoy me that, when converting from color to b&w, the chromatic aberration tends to leave a white line surrounding some of the objects in the image. But that is part of the price to pay for not lugging around a mess of equipment.
Interesting, I hadn’t noticed it but now that I have, It think it’s actually a piece of what makes the entire image work. Are you doing the conversion in Lightroom?
