Looking down the unbroken trail
Macricostas Preserve, Washington, Connecticut.
I shot these a few days ago with the Ricoh GR after the last semi-big snowfall that filled in the trail my wife and I made here. Breaking this trail solo was a lot of work but also, a lot of fun.
And, on the back side of the hill the light was low so I got some nice long shadows from trees (and me).
Washed down a few ibuprofen with beer on returning home. And, went out again yesterday to do the entire loop again with my wife, who I think is now hooked on snowshoeing.
